Choosing a profession is choosing fate
We determine our future long before the last school bell rings. When choosing a profession, we try to weigh all the pros and cons of a particular occupation that appeals to us, to "try it on for ourselves."
Choosing a profession is perhaps the most important factor in determining how your future life will turn out and how you will feel in it. After all, everyone wants not only to earn money, but also to realize their potential and get real satisfaction from their work.
Dreams and reality – how to combine them? How not to make a mistake in choosing your path in order to be happy at work? These problems were sought to be solved today by 9th grade students of secondary school No. 7 in Kovel, who visited the preschool educational institution “Kovel Vocational Training Center”.
During the tour, the students had the opportunity to tour the production workshops, general education and special education classrooms, dormitory rooms, and the center's dining room, where they were treated to a delicious lunch.
Today's exciting journey into the world of professions, specialists trained by industrial training masters and teachers of the center, will help school students choose their own path in the adult world.

If you have a profession, you live in abundance.
There is an old instructive parable about a wheelbarrow. A wheelbarrow is a simple tool for transporting goods. It consists of a cargo body, one or more wheels, and a handle. Three men, straining as hard as they can, are carrying heavy wheelbarrows full of stones. A passerby asks each of them the same question: What are you doing? The first one replied: “I’m carrying this damn wheelbarrow!” The second one said: “I’m earning my bread!” The third one said: “I’m building a city!”
Why did everyone who drove the wheelbarrow have different answers, because they were doing the same job? Because for one, it is important to earn money, for another, work becomes hard labor, and for someone, it is a task to realize oneself.
Today, employees of the Kovel Vocational Training Center spoke about how to make the right choice and realize themselves for the graduating students of ZZSO No. 11.
During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to recreate the techniques demonstrated to them by the masters of industrial training and students of the institution, to try the student dishes served to them by the cafeteria workers, and the girls turned into real beauties when they visited the hairdresser's workshop.
We sincerely hope that the young people who today have tried themselves as tailors or hairdressers, auto mechanics or plumbers, turners or embroiderers, carpenters, carvers or construction workers will join the ranks of our institution in the future.
May each of you have your own most interesting profession and it will make you a happy person!

The most important choice in life
Life constantly presents us with a choice. In childhood, we choose the most beloved of many toys, at school we prefer the most interesting, in our opinion, subjects... We choose comrades, friends, lovers. And at the heart of the choice, each of us has our own criteria, our own idea of good and evil, honor and truth. Choice exists daily, every minute. Different in its seriousness, but different in its consequences.
One of the most important steps in life is choosing a profession. After all, doing something that interests you and brings you joy is one of the conditions for feeling fulfilled in life.
A practical psychologist and Oleksandra Ryzhko, a student of the Kovel Central Vocational and Technical School, tried to help graduates of the Kovel Vocational and Technical School No. 5 take a step towards choosing a profession. During the training, students received information about the specialties that can be obtained at the educational institution, completed exercises that allow them to make decisions about determining their future, played professional games and tried to earn their first fee.

On the way to the goal
A relevant and important task of career guidance work is to promote the professional self-realization of students, and motivational trainings are an effective way to help young people make the right professional choice.
This training was conducted at the Kovel Vocational Training Center for 9th grade students of the Kovel Secondary Vocational School No. 11.
The training contributed to the formation of the right motivation for choosing a professional activity, readiness to make decisions regarding determining one's own professional future, and encouragement of young people to obtain professions that are taught at this institution and that are relevant on the labor market.
Students happily participated in career guidance games and competitions, working individually and in pairs.
We hope that in the future, the training participants will choose working professions and become our students. And the teaching staff will make every effort to nurture first-class specialists.

Introduction of modern production technologies
Today, students strive to master the latest technologies in their chosen profession, to freely navigate the information space with the help of computer technology, to manage automated production systems, to be able to design and construct their own methods of work in production. These and other competencies can be formed by a competent teacher and the creation of an educational and practical center "Metal Processing by Cutting". Masters of the higher educational institution Dyatel V.V., Vakulyuk P.P. and Novosad A.V. spread advanced pedagogical experience in the implementation of new production technologies in the profession of "Turner" through demonstration lessons and master classes.
The educational and practical center and the high competence of teachers provide an excellent opportunity to modernize the workshop, where our students have access to the most modern high-tech equipment and tools, gain high-quality knowledge and practical skills in working with modern equipment, master the latest technologies, be competitive in the labor market and meet the requirements of modernity.
Dear applicant! We invite you to study at a modern vocational and technical institution - an institution of the modern era!

Communication works for those who work for it
A key moment in the employment process can be an interview, which is a great way to demonstrate your abilities. "A competent interview is a guarantee against unemployment," said B. Linkemer.
It's hard to understand what an employer expects from us. Students who participated in the training at the Career Center "Communication works for those who work for it" hoped to get an answer to this question.
During exercises, brainstorming, role-playing, and workshops, future employees learned about the principles of HR work and employers' expectations; they learned how to prepare for a successful interview, practiced self-presentation skills, and increased their self-confidence.
We sincerely hope that the knowledge and skills acquired during the training will contribute to the professional self-realization of our graduates.

Choose a profession wisely, put your soul into it, and then happiness will find you.

Life constantly presents us with a choice. And each of us bases our choices on our own criteria, our own ideas about good and evil, truth and injustice.
Every person has freedom of choice. Choice exists every day, every minute. Different in its seriousness. Unequal in its consequences.
One of the most important steps in any person's life is choosing a profession. After all, doing what interests you brings joy - one of the conditions for feeling fulfilled in life.
You determine your future long before the last school bell rings. When choosing a profession, we try to weigh all the pros and cons of a particular occupation that attracts us, to “try it on ourselves.” Choosing a profession is perhaps the most important factor in how your future life will turn out and how you will feel in it. After all, everyone wants not only to earn money, but also to realize their potential and get real pleasure from their work.
A conscious choice of profession influences later life, determines the success of self-realization, determines the success of career growth, determines the success of professional growth, and leads to SUCCESS in life.
On October 18, in group 33, as part of the study group week, a demonstration educational event "A person for a profession or a profession for a person?" with elements of training was held.

to be online, but also to protect yourself from danger on the Internet, because human life is God's most precious gift on Earth. Learn good things online, Seek knowledge and news, And we must bypass evil, lying sites.

Round table
"Interaction of educational institutions with social partners on the path to qualitative renewal of the vocational education system"
Global trends and current conditions for the development of the Ukrainian economy require increased interaction between local executive bodies, employers and vocational and technical educational institutions in addressing issues of innovative development of vocational education. Currently, innovative teaching technologies, new modern professions are being introduced in vocational and technical education, creating conditions for greater mobility of graduates in the labor market.
Creating appropriate conditions for providing the economy with labor potential, providing the population with high-quality vocational and technical education, and forming a creative, spiritually rich personality taking into account its needs, interests and abilities is now impossible without a new system of relations between the educational institution and enterprises, social partners, as well as central executive bodies, and public organizations.
Enterprises need not just specialists, but highly qualified workers who possess modern technologies and equipment. The main task of the Kovel Vocational and Technical Education Center is to prepare just such specialists.
On January 31, a round table “Interaction of the educational institution with social partners on the path of qualitative renewal of the vocational education system” was held at the “DNZ Kovel Center for Vocational Education” on the basis of which the management and representatives of the structural divisions of the enterprises of LLC “Volyn-Kalvis” and PrJSC “Silmash” were present.
The participants analyzed the needs of the modern labor market, the Volyn region and the city of Kovel and the Kovel district, discussed the conditions of social partnership, duties and responsibilities of the parties.
Representatives of LLC “Volyn-Kalvis” shared their successes in cooperation with “DNZ Kovel Center for Vocational Education” within the framework of the German-Ukrainian project “Partnership in the field of vocational education of Ukraine”. Breakthrough of light industry
There is nothing more refined and perfect, sincere and poetically touching than folk art. Even today, it breathes life-giving force, excites emotions, inspires modern masters of artistic crafts and generally testifies to the creative talent of youth.
The art of tailoring, embroidery and making jewelry from artificial flowers is harmoniously combined in the costumes of Lukash and Mavka - the soloists of the opera "Forest Song".
Why Mavka and Lukash? Probably, because the events described by Lesya Ukrainka in the philosophical and poetic parable about life take place in the tract "Nechymne", near the city of Kovel, where talented youth acquire working professions, which is what the collection with the same name "Forest Song" represents.
Our educational institution DNE "Kovel Central Vocational and Technical Education Center" took part in the 3rd All-Ukrainian competition "Breakthrough of Light Industry", initiated by the national industry partnership in light industry of Ukraine "Fashion Globus Ukraine" and the Association of Vocational and Technical Education Centers of Ukraine of the sewing profile under the partnership of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which was held in the city of Kharkiv on March 14-16, 2018. This competition was held in three nominations. Our center took part in the 3rd nomination "Solemn images for the soloist of the opera theater" and was awarded a second degree diploma.
This collection was made on the basis of the Kovel Center for Vocational and Technical Education. Students of the educational institution from the professions "Tailored", "Tailored; Embroiderer" and "Florist" were involved in the performance under the guidance of production training masters, teachers of special disciplines, and the artistic director. The products at the show were demonstrated by students from the Kovel Vocational Education Center.

Excursion to the future
On April 14, graduating students, together with their mentors, had the opportunity to visit the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts as part of the Open Day 2018 program. An interesting and informative program of getting to know the institution contributed to a better understanding of the specifics of various faculties. Students visited various creative laboratories and classrooms. The students were most impressed by the communication with teachers, cheerful and ambitious students, as well as the original design of the educational institution and technical equipment. Breakfast and lunch in the student canteen were a delicious and pleasant gift for the excursion group.
After the excursion, the students met with the rector of KNUKiM, Mykhailo Poplavsky, who gladly answered the students' questions, gave parental advice, life guidelines, and shared his own experience of achieving his goal. Future graduates received information about the conditions of admission and rules of admission to the university in 2018, as well as souvenir products.
After the tour, many of our graduates were inspired to continue their studies and become part of the student family of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts!

After completing the practical task, the students received encouraging valuable gifts, and a modern welding inverter from the Dnipro-M brand was presented to the educational institution.

Speaking Club
When students enter the first year of the KTSPTO preschool educational institution, foreign language teachers constantly emphasize the importance of knowing English for future employment.
English is the language of business communication. Knowledge of English increases your chances of getting a job in an international company or a company that cooperates with other countries. A column in your resume stating that you know English will immediately attract the attention of your potential employer. Knowledge of English will allow you to easily contact colleagues from other countries, attend international industry exhibitions and conferences.
Learning a foreign language like English will help train your memory. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that a large amount of professional literature, as well as scientific research, is published in English. If you want to be aware of the latest discoveries and achievements in your professional field, you need to know English.
That is why learning a language with native speakers is an advantage. For the students of the center, this opportunity is open thanks to the English Speaking Club, which began operating within the walls of the institution on November 20, 2018.
From now on, every Tuesday they meet with Aimee Shaw, a Peace Corps volunteer, to
🦄 discuss current topics
🦄 expand their vocabulary
🦄 play and watch movies in English
🦄 break the "language barrier"
🦄 learn to express their point of view in a reasoned manner
🦄 communicate a lot
🦄 enjoy learning

Resume writing training is the first step towards a good job
On January 31, 2019, students of the Kovel Vocational Training Center decided to practice writing a resume. The result of their work was a document that will show employers that they have a chance to attract a truly talented employee to their company.
Specialist of the Kovel City District Employment Center Olga Andriychuk explained to the participants that the main thing in this document is structure and truthfulness.
It turns out that employers are looking for the following information about potential employees:
1) education;
2) work experience;
3) practical skills and experience;
4) personal achievements (additional information).
Each of these sub-items should be displayed on the resume page and have specific, clear, understandable content:
1) education: name of institution, qualification;
2) work experience: previous places of work with a brief description of the main achievements, date of start and end of work, full name of the enterprise;
3) practical skills and experience: a list of skills, knowledge, abilities, proficiency in foreign languages, proficiency in certain software and equipment
4) personal achievements: personal qualities, awards, victories, hobbies, interests.
